This is how an anonymous source from the Trump administration quoted in a Washington Post report this weekend referred to a possible presidential veto on coronavirus stimulus legislation if it included money to save the U.S. Postal Service currently in crisis.
“We told them very clearly that the president was not going to sign the bill if [money for the Postal Service] was in it, ”said the anonymous administration official. “I don’t know if we used the v-bomb, but the president was not going to sign it, and we told them.”
