TN CM Says Farm Credit Exemption Certificates Will Be Given Within Two weeks
Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami said the agricultural loan waiver the certificates will be distributed to farmers within a fortnight. He added that 1100, CM’s integrated public grievance helpline as part of the CM helpline management system, will be launched within a week.
The CM was speaking after the start of its electoral campaign in the district of Ranipet on Tuesday morning. “This loan waiver will benefit more than 16 lakh farmers. So we are keeping everything we promised, ”he said.
Throughout his campaign in Ranipet, Mr. Palaniswami described the achievements of the government and leaned on the chairman of the DMK, Deputy Stalin. Mr Palaniswami said the chairman of the DMK would go around the districts and collect the petitions in a box. “He says all grievances will be resolved shortly after he becomes chief minister. But when is it going to be and when is it going to solve people’s problems. With our 1100 program, people can simply send their grievance through their cell phone. You don’t have to break a box, ”he said.
The Chief Minister said that since Mr. Stalin does not attend Assembly sessions or is unaware of government plans, he is spreading false propaganda that the AIADMK government has nothing made for the people. “He does not know that under the Chief Minister’s special grievance redress program, the AIADMK government has collected more than 9.77 lakh grievance petitions and out of this total, more than 5 lakh petitions have been processed,” he added.
The chief minister said that apart from that, revenue officers go to each village and issue receipts after receiving petitions. “Mr. Stalin also gives a receipt, but it is not a valid receipt. Mr. Stalin has only started meeting people now, although he is in politics and has held important positions in the in recent years. But we have met people regularly, even during the pandemic, ”he added.
The CM said the opposition leader was reluctant to organize a face-to-face meeting to discuss the achievements of the governments led by AIADMK and DMK. “He is not coming because his party has done nothing for the people. Mr. Stalin claims that we spent millions of rupees on advertising in the media. We are just announcing our achievements because the opposition leaders do not know it. This will put an end to their false propaganda.
Mr. Palaniswami said that it was under the AIADMK government that the district of Vellore was divided into three. “It was a request from the people of Vellore. We have done so much for the people, ”he said.
The CM then went to Sholingur and stressed the importance of Kudi Maraathu scheme. “Ranipet is made up mainly of farming families. Most of their children study in public schools and to help medical aspirants in these schools we have introduced the reserve of 7.5% and for this reason, 435 of these students are all expected to become doctors. They complain about the NEET exams, but this was introduced by the DMK and Congress. If there is a Nobel Prize for lying, it should go to Mr. Stalin, ”he said.
