Kate Middleton’s diet is considered healthy, as the sports royal is a lifelong athlete and is considered to be health conscious.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a known avid runner and is passionate about health and fitness.

Given Kate’s interest in sports and wellness, her daily diet would be relevant even to people outside the royal family.

The mother-of-three is said to take healthy eating very seriously and is said to have jumped on the trend of green smoothies to jumpstart her mornings.

But her diet isn’t all fruit and veg and the Duchess is said to include British dishes like curry and sticky toffee pudding.

The former St Andrews rowing team member is also believed to enjoy raw fruit and vegetables, opting for watermelon salads for lunch.

Every morning, Kate makes a kale, spirulina, matcha, spinach, romaine and coriander smoothie, according to the MailOnline.

The Duchess is also believed to like raw fruits and vegetables, opting for healthy watermelon salads at lunchtime.

But Kate is also thought to prefer indulgent treats, and her go-to picks are ‘relative’ comfort food classics that many can get on board with.

Behavioral expert Darren Stanton said on behalf of Coffee Friend: “Kate’s favorite foods are much more in line with what a lot of people would eat these days and she prefers to try new food trends, like a raw food diet, plant-based meals or matcha in its coffee or green smoothies.

“However, his diet also consists of a lot of the nation’s old favorites, like curry and sticky caramel pudding – it’s hearty food and very relatable.

“Kate’s food tastes might suggest why she is arguably one of the most popular members of the royal family, she is in touch with what the masses love, she can relate to them and they to her.”

According to Mr Stanton, Kate’s food choices fit well with the eating style of her husband, Prince William.

He added: “William, on the other hand, likes to barbecue and hosting a family barbecue means you like to take charge and aren’t afraid to be the one to make all the decisions – traits that he will no doubt need and rely on when it comes to being king.

“A barbecue is often no frills, very simple and serves hearty food, what you see is what you get. It’s psychologically quite consistent with Kate, so maybe that’s why she and William are totally a couple. matched in almost every way.”

Meals are believed to be hugely important in the Cambridge household, with Kate and William also keen to get their three royal children interested in food.

Kate has shared on previous royal visits that her three children love helping out in the kitchen during meals.

Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, told PEOPLE after Kate’s visit to Lavender Primary School: “She was telling us how much her children love to cook and how they cook for her.

“They made cheese pasta the other day. One stirs in the flour, the other puts in the milk and butter. And they make salads and stuff.”
