But did the 40-year-old royal eat to keep her energy levels high while caring for her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as well as attending regular royal engagements?

Kate is known for her healthy lifestyle and love of sports, so we’re not surprised to find that the Duchess eats healthy too. From what we know of the Cambridge family’s daily diet, they enjoy eating a variety of nutritious and tasty meals, with Kate doing much of the cooking herself at home. The Duchess likes to involve her children in the cooking process, such as making pasta or pizza together, but it seems her husband Prince William is not a very good cook!

What does Kate Middleton eat for breakfast?
The mum-of-three is known to be a big fan of breakfast smoothies, like her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.
According to MailOnline, the Duchess blends a combination of kale, spirulina (a type of seaweed), matcha (green tea leaves), spinach, romaine, cilantro (cilantro leaves) and blueberries for a morning drink healthy. With this jumpsuit, it’s no wonder the royal looks so radiant.

Kate is also believed to enjoy a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast.

What does Kate Middleton eat for lunch?
The Duchess is not a vegetarian, but reports have emerged that she mainly likes to eat meatless dishes for lunch.

During her royal tour of India with William, chef Raghu Deora, responsible for creating dishes for the royal couple during their stay at the Taj Mahal palace, revealed he served a lunch of vegetable and curry skewers contact lenses for the couple.
“It’s all vegetarian because I was told that’s what they prefer,” he explained.
Kate and William are sushi fans
We also know the couple enjoy sushi after visiting Japan House London. Speaking to Japanese chef Akira, William said:
“Very impressive”, while eating salmon sashimi. “Thank you so much. My wife and I love sushi. We may have to come here for lunch when there’s no one else.”
Kate’s other favorites are watermelon salads, tabbouleh, ceviche and gazpacho, according to a 2014 report Daily Mail article.

What does Kate Middleton eat for dinner?
The Duchess eats evening meals similar to many of us: roasts, pastas and curries.
When she was seven months pregnant with Prince George, Kate enjoyed a homemade vegetable dish prepared by Indian couple Chan Shingadia and her husband Hash, who at the time ran the Spar store near Kate’s home in the Berkshire.
Kate has previously admitted she is a fan of spicy food – although she revealed ahead of her royal tour of India with Prince William that unlike her, her husband “struggles” with spices.
Roast chicken is a favorite in the Cambridge household
Roast chicken is another popular meal with the Royal Family – Prince Harry proposed to Meghan while they cooked the meal and Kate and William love it too.
Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl said vanity lounge in 2012: “In the evening, she indulges in her hobby of cooking William’s favorite supper, roast chicken.”
Pasta is also a favorite in the Cambridge household. People reported that during a visit to Lavender Primary School, the royal told Matthew Kleiner-Mann: “She was telling us how much her children love to cook and how they cook for her. They made pasta at cheese the other day. One stirs the flour, the other puts in the milk and the butter. And they make salads and all that.

What is Kate Middleton snacking on?
The Duchess is known to favor healthy snacks if she gets peckish between meals, such as raw fruits and vegetables like goji berries.
Like many of us, however, Kate also loves sweets and has been spotted enjoying popcorn before. During the royal tour of Canada and the United States in 2014, Prince William and Kate attended a basketball game in New York where the couple were spotted eating a bucket of popcorn together.

Kate loves to indulge in the weird sweet treat, just like the rest of us. The royal mother’s pudding of choice is the sticky toffee pudding, which she often enjoys at the Old Boot Inn in Stanford Dingley, Berkshire.
