She took part in ITV’s Sugar Free Farm, which saw herself and other contestants follow a sugar-free diet to improve their overall health.
In the first two weeks, Jane lost an impressive 9 pounds (over half a stone), but the weight also continued to drop after finishing the show.

Speaking to The Mirror in 2015, Jane revealed the foods she quit eating which helped her lose weight. She said: “We had to cut out alcohol, cakes, biscuits, ready meals…everything.
“The hardest thing for me was running out of red wine. Oh, I like my wine.
“But now I’ve completely reduced my intake and only drink one glass a week. This is a huge deal for me.
As for the foods she’s added to her diet, Jane shared the contents of her fridge, saying, “Now it’s stuffed top to bottom with lean meat and chopped vegetables in Tupperware canisters: peppers, spinach, things like that.
“I don’t want to diet on a cruise because I want people to see what they can get.”
The TV presenter added that she had cut out “white carbs, like white flour or white pasta”, and was “not eating crisps”.
Jane said she chooses to “start the day with a green smoothie every other morning.”
“I mix in a mix of raw vegetables, flax seeds, chia seeds, spinach, kale, mint and a banana. It’s really lovely,” she said.
Although Jane doesn’t eat carbs, she does eat one type of bread: one that doesn’t contain yeast.
“The only bread I eat is the one for which I have a recipe from Angélique (a nutritionist)”, explained the singer.
“It’s yeast-free and made with lots of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, wholemeal flour, oats, and yogurt, among other things.
“It’s literally 20 minutes and it’s done – ready to put in the oven.
“I don’t eat a lot of it, but when I’m really craving some starch, I just take some out of the freezer and put it in the toaster and that’s it.”
