It is important that everyone understands that the kosher designation does not mean anything about the quality of a wine and everything about how the wine was made. The crushing of the grapes, bottling and capping must have been supervised by Sabbath-keeping Jews and no non-kosher fining or additives can be included. While it’s not true that kosher wines have to receive a rabbi’s blessing, many do and it can’t hurt, right?
