8 things to do for Labor Day weekend on Long Island
Summer technically ends on September 22. But the impending return to school makes Labor Day weekend the unofficial end of the season, no matter how long you’ve been in a classroom. The three day weekend gives us one last chance to enjoy the easier, cooler feeling of summer on Long Island. And in the region, cultural venues, towns, restaurants and more give us plenty of reasons to go out. Consider this as your guide to planning what to do on Labor Day weekend in Long Island.
Attend the annual Shinnecock powwow
