3 reasons why Real Madrid decided to loan out Luka Jovic
3 reasons why Real Madrid decided to loan Luka Jovic on the winter transfer market to Eintracht Frankfurt.
It’s been about a week since Luka Jovic completed his return to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. However, it didn’t take long for the Serbian striker to settle down at the club where it all started for him.
In his first appearance, Jovic knocked twice in a remarkable way to help Frankfurt beat Schalke 04. The 23-year-old was signed with 30 minutes remaining and a score of 1-1. Despite the lack of minutes in Madrid, Jovic didn’t look at all rusty with the ball, off the ball and in front of goal against Schalke 04.
It was Luka Jovic’s first club goal in over 11 months and his brace against Schalke 04 has now equaled the same number of goals he has scored for Los Blancos in a season and a half. His confidence is sure to skyrocket right now and the next six months will be crucial for the Serbian to resume his career.
So why exactly have Real Madrid loaned out Luka Jovic in a season where the club struggle to score goals?
TO REINFORCE YOUR CONFIDENCE
Jovic arrived at Real after a stellar campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt scoring 27 goals in all competitions. But what followed was certainly not planned. Injuries, problems off the pitch, then any fallout with Zinedine Zidane. His self-confidence was shattered as the 23-year-old had too much to do and no longer had the same support he once had at Frankfurt.
The return to Frankfurt was to bring back that confidence that Jovic has in his abilities. We can already see it as the Serbian has put a brace in his brace and will be looking forward to scoring a lot more for the rest of the season.
